Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with left-handed hemiparesis. Objectives: The main target of this bachelor thesis was to compile a complete case study of physiotherapeutic treatment, which was carried out in the course of clinical work placement, including evaluation of the effect of therapies. Another objective was to obtain theoretical knowledge about the diagnosis of the patient, namely the craniocerebral trauma. Summary The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, general and special. The general part is theoretical and compiles information about craniocerebral trauma. It deals with the anatomical description of the brain, blood supply of the brain and it explains the neurophysiological background of motion. It also deal with kinds of craniocerebral trauma, including disorders of consciousness and their treatment. The last part presents physiotherapeutic methods and techniques that can affect the state after brain injury. A special part is a case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of patient (V. H.) after craniocerebral trauma with left side hemiparesis.
